Won 2nd and 3rd place in the Open Category of Pre-qualifying for National World Skills Competition 2018. It also witnessed Simon Wong from DRB-HICOM U qualifying for the final stage that will be held at CIAST in September 2018.

DRB-HICOM U is amongst the first in ASEAN to offer home-grown bachelor degree, master and doctoral programmes relating to the automotive ecosystem, which includes mechanical, business and management studies.What makes us different is our balanced approach to education; similar to the dual training concept widely practiced in Germany where nearly 60% of its workers train as apprentices.

Since its humble beginning as International College of Automotive (ICAM) in April 2010, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia became a full-fledge university in October 2015. Operating from a well facilitated 42-acre campus strategically located in the DRB-HICOM Automotive Complex in Pekan, the university now houses two faculties namely the Faculty of Engineering & Technology and Faculty of Business & Management.
