“Convocation is a day of well-deserved celebration. For students, it signifies the completion of years of hard work and also the beginning of an exciting new chapter in their lives.
For families, it is a day to recognise those years of dedication and to embrace enthusiastically the pride that the convocation evokes.
Meanwhile for the rest of us, convocation is a time to look optimistically into the future, to share”

The Mace’s shaft, carved with the motive of bamboo shoots, are inspired from ‘shoots’ from the Bambusa vulgaris and Phyllostachys Endulis species that can be eaten.
As an educational institution, DRB-HICOM University of Automotive Malaysia chose this motif as reflected by the Malay proverb:
“Meluntur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya”.
Thus, the good values must be nurtured from a young age.
