Memorandum of Agreement between DRB-HICOM University and International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology.

Shah Alam, 24 December 2018- The signing ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement between DRB-HICOM University of Automotive of Malaysia (DRB-HICOM University) and International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology, Oman was held on 21 December 2018 at Holiday Inn Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

The Omani delegation to DRB-HICOM University led by Dr. Ahmed Al Farsi, Chairman of International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology accompanied by Dr. Tameur Nachef, Managing Director of Eryx Consulting Sdn. Bhd. met with Prof. Dato’ Dr. Omar Osman the Vice-Chancellor of DRB-HICOM University accompanied by Prof. Dr. Sofri Yahya, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of DRB-HICOM University.

During the agreement, International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology agreed to send a total of 600 participants from Oman to be trained with DRB-HICOM University in Waste Management for duration of 6 months.

In his speech Prof. Dato’ Dr. Omar Osman said “We are extremely glad being given the opportunity by International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology, Oman to be a part of the solution, knowledge and technical provider team. About 600 Omani participants will be trained in Waste Management Operation at DRB-HICOM University”.

“We hope this exercise will be the beginning of a meaningful relationship between DRB-HICOM University and International Gulf Institute and opens up other opportunities to explore other areas” he added.

International Gulf Institute for Administration & Technology, Oman is one of many institutions that collaborated with DRB-HICOM University to provide training and short courses for their institution.
